See Venus during National Science Week

During National Science Week 2012, it will be possible to see the planet Venus in the morning sky.

Some find it easier to find a planet during the day by using binoculars and standing in the shadow of a building once you have located the waning crescent Moon. That way you are not dealing with the glare from the Sun. Looking earlier is better (ie. look at 9 am rather than 10am).
