Transfolk @ Scitech is a free, community-focused event for trans and gender diverse people in Western Australia.

If you're a part of the trans and gender diverse community, we'd love to see you at Scitech to hang out and celebrate National Science Week while you explore STEM!

The evening will begin with a Welcome to Country.  You'll have time to explore the exhibits at your own pace and there will be trans and gender diverse been support volunteers around to assist where needed, and welcome you to the space.

A range of resources will be available on the night to support pathways into STEM, including information about study options, careers, community programs, and further learning opportunities, should you be interested in finding out more.

We'll make sure that the space is sensory-considered to support engagement - lighting will be adjusted, quiet spaces will be available, and we'll bring support items like earplugs and fidget tools in case you need them or forget to bring yours along. Auslan interpretation will also be available.

Finally, there will be door prizes. You'll be given a raffle ticket on arrival for the chance to win a STEM related prize.
