Students from across year levels at Naracoorte High School will be participating in 'Senses in Bloom' at the Longridge Aged Care facility in Naracoorte. Prior to Science Week students will meet to research plants, seedlings, garden ornaments etc to be used in the sensory garden space at the aged care facility. We will work over the week beginning 23rd August to visit the facility a number of times, with students working to tidy, plant and address establishing the sensory garden for the residents. We will then produce an information booklet for residents, with information around the areas we have established and the plants in the garden.

This project will involve students from Years 7 - 11 and will require prior meetings and science research prior to Science Week 2026. During Science Week, students will visit a number of times during the week.
