Get ready to grow, discover, and have fun with Seeds to Success!
During Science Week, our whole school will become a team of young scientists. From Foundation to Year 6, students will explore how tiny seeds grow into healthy plants through fun, hands-on activities.
Students will plant fast-growing seeds like beans or cress and watch them change every day. They’ll work in buddy classes, where older students help younger ones, so everyone learns together. They will test what plants need to grow by changing things like light, water, and soil.
Along the way, students will:
Buddy groups will share ideas and talk about what they discover, just like real scientists.
The project will finish with a “Growing Gallery”, where students will proudly share their plants and learning with their families.
This exciting project helps students build curiosity, teamwork, and understanding—showing how big discoveries can grow from small seeds!
