Celebrating National Science Week 2026

Our Gatehouse Montessori – Rosewater Centre is excited to host “Seeds of Science: Plant, Prepare & Explore” as part of our celebration of National Science Week 2026.

Join us for a fun and meaningful hands-on science experience designed for children, families, and our local community.

Through engaging activities, participants will explore the science of seeds, discover the wonders of nature, and learn how science connects to everyday life.

 Event Activities Include:

• Sprouted Seeds Supper Salad – Hands-on Cooking Workshop
  Explore the journey of seeds from growth to nutrition while creating a healthy and delicious sprouted seed salad.
• Chia Seed Potato Heads Activity
  Discover plant life cycles and the science of growing while creating your own fun chia seed character.

 Free Gift for Participants

All participants will receive a Healthy Sprouted Seed Salad Recipe Booklet with nutrition information to support healthy eating and encourage continued exploration of nutritious foods at home.

We warmly welcome our children, families, and members of the local community to join us for an afternoon of discovery, creativity, and science learning as we celebrate the “Seeds of Science” theme.
