During National Science Week, students will take part in fun, hands-on science activities to explore how ideas begin, develop and are shared. They will test how seeds grow in different conditions, grow crystals to learn about chemistry, design and test models for how seeds spread, and investigate how soil and water affect plant growth.
Students will observe, record and share their findings using scientific language, diagrams and other ways of presenting information. They will also share their learning with other classes and at a Science Showcase, helping them understand that science grows through teamwork and sharing ideas with others.
