Across the whole school, we have started a garden club for students who are interested in caring for plants. Together, we have planted vegetables, fruits, and flowers, and we are looking forward to watching them grow as we take care of them each day.

In the primary school, our Kindergarten to Year 2 students will be creating fun “cress heads.” This is a hands-on way to explore our theme, “nurturing knowledge for all,” while also nurturing our own growing plants.

Students in Years 3 to 6 will also be planting and working on a creative challenge. They will design a simple system that lets people know when their plant needs care—such as a light or sound to remind them when it’s time to water it.
