Year 11-12 Science in Practice Students at Kingsley College will present Science Week activities for students in P-12 (multiple events) with the support of teachers and grant supported resources from MTA and Haines Educational.
First two different corn germination models will be examined and compared in terms of how they show the seed and plant’s features and represent its life cycle in two different ways.
Then two different models of a plant cell will be examined and compared in terms of how they represent the cell’s features.
Finally, corn seeds and seedlings will be viewed under stereo microscopes and plant cell slides will be viewed under light microscopes (school provided).
