• Bruce Pascoe – Yuin, Bunurong and Tasmanian writer, researcher and farmer at Black Duck Foods.
• Rayleen Brown – Ngangiwumirr and Eastern Arrernte woman from Mparntwe (Alice Springs) who champions First Nations bushfoods through her business, Kungkas Can Cook.
• Jacob Birch – Gamilaraay researcher reawakening the native grains industry through self-determination through Yaamarra & Yarral.
• Kerrie Saunders – Gomeroi/Guumbraay educator and native grains researcher who runs bush tucker tours through her business Yinarrma.
• Joshua Gilbert – Worimi author and advocate for sustainability and First Nations leadership in agriculture and food systems.
• The Wattleseed Collective – A West Kimberley social enterprise where Karajarri, Nyangumarta, Yawuru, Bunuba and other Aboriginal Rangers, Elders and Traditional Owners sustainably harvest wattleseed on Country, creating seasonal jobs and returning profits to community.

Together, our panellists will yarn about harvesting and processing native seeds and grains, the nutritional value of native foods, and the ongoing importance of food sovereignty, sustainable agriculture and caring for Country.

Learners, educators and the wider community will gain a deeper understanding of how First Nations Knowledge has sustained communities for tens of thousands of years and continues to shape the future of science, agriculture and environmental stewardship. Recommended for Years 3-12.
