Join Little Alphas for a hands-on robotics and coding workshop as part of National Science Week 2026!
Designed for primary school students aged 5–10, this 2-hour session gives kids the chance to think like engineers and act like scientists.
Participants will:

  • Build a working robot using LEGO Education SPIKE Essential/LEGO EDUCATION WEDO 2.0
  • Write block-based code/word - based code to control movement and sensors
  • Compete in a mini robot challenge
  • Earn a Little Alphas certificate of completion
  • No coding or robotics experience is required — just a curious mind.

Little Alphas is a Gold Coast-based education provider specialising in robotics and coding for primary school students. Our facilitators work with young learners in a safe, supportive, and energising environment.

Parents and carers are welcome to observe.

Venue: KDV Sport, 221 Nerang Broadbeach Road, Carrara QLD 4211 Room: Functional Room, Second Level. Enter via the main reception and take the lift or stairs to Level 2 — Little Alphas signage will be displayed on the day. Parking: Free on-site parking is available at the venue with ample spaces. Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible with lift access to the Second Level. Please contact us in advance on 04 14 670 335 if your child has specific accessibility requirements so we can assist. Check-in: Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in your child. Parents and carers are welcome to stay and observe the session.
