The Museum of Human Disease invites NSW high school students to take part in a creative science communication challenge exploring the theme “Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All.”

In collaboration with DonateLife NSW, this year’s competition encourages students to investigate the science, ethics and real-world impact of organ and tissue donation. Students will explore how biological principles that underpin life-saving medical treatments, while also considering the broader social importance of donation.

By translating complex scientific ideas into engaging content for their peers, participants will help “plant the seed” of understanding and spark informed conversations among young people.

Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the Museum of Human Disease to an audience of academics, clinicians and science communicators, highlighting how science can be used to educate, inspire and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
