Come and join our Pedal Powered Cinema, where you can help us pedal bikes to power the movie projector.
We will show movies for children from 4:30pm, then at 6pm join us for pedal powered smoothies and pizza. At 7pm we will show The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, about a boy in Malawi who invents an unconventional way to save his village from famine. Rated M.
Our energy expert Mike Fewings will explain how the system works, using the bikes, batteries and inverters, and we can think about the value of energy and discuss ways we might generate our own power, or do other things to help the environment.
