Get ready to explore space, science and the possibilities of studying from right here in Central West Queensland!

Join the Mission Operations Centre and Country Universities Centre (CUC) Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD) Central West Queensland for a National Science Week event filled with discovery and hands-on learning.

Step inside the International Space Station through CUC’s virtual reality experience and discover what it might feel like to live and work in space. Meet the teams, learn more about science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and explore where an interest in STEM could take you.

CUC, RAPAD, CWQ will also be available to share information about its eight regional study hubs and the free facilities, technology and support available to people completing university, vocational education, apprenticeships, short courses or other forms of study.

This event is a great opportunity for children, families, students and curious community members to experience STEM in a fun and welcoming environment as well as seeing what exciting education and career opportunities can begin right here in our region.
