UNSW Canberra is pleased to host the event of Mission Possible: The Stories of Us at the UNSW Canberra City Campus during the visit of a Japanese delegation to Australia.
The event forms part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Australia–Japan Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation and provides an opportunity to celebrate the strong and growing partnership between Australia and Japan in space science, exploration, education, and innovation.
The event will bring together leading experts from JAXA, Japanese universities and UNSW Canberra to explore the remarkable stories behind Japan's landmark space missions.
Rather than a traditional lecture, the event combines short mission briefings with moderated conversations, providing audiences with a unique insight into the science, leadership, innovation and international collaboration that make ambitious space missions possible.
