We will organise age-appropriate activities during class time to construct a garden to attract pollinators in consultation with our agriculture department. Students will be involved in hands-on soil preparation and planting to learn the importance of attracting pollinators to the area. There will be two pollinator gardens, with one being among the soon-to-be-planted orchard trees and the other in a garden bed among the existing vegetable gardens. The garden bed located in the vegetable garden will be maintained long-term by our newly established sustainability club.
