Science is coming to Montessori!

Get ready to ask questions, make discoveries and see science in action

This fun, hands-on science incursion will bring exciting experiments and big scientific ideas right into the Montessori Early Learning Centre (ELC). Children will have the chance to explore how and why things happen through simple, playful activities designed especially for curious young minds.

We’ll investigate, experiment, make predictions and, most importantly, have fun! Along the way, children will discover that science isn’t just something that happens in a laboratory. It’s everywhere - in the world around us, in our bodies, in nature and even in the everyday things we see and do.

There will be plenty of opportunities for children to get involved, ask “why?”, share their ideas and discover that it’s okay when an experiment doesn’t go exactly as planned. That’s often when the best science happens.

Whether your child already loves asking “HOW DOES THAT WORK?” or is just beginning to explore the world around them, this incursion is all about encouraging curiosity, imagination and a love of discovery.
