Make a splash with us this National Science Week!
We'll look at what makes up the coral reef and the animals that live in them. You will make your own model reef, learn about some of the conditions corals need in order to survive, and how engineers test equipment to help us study the ocean environment.
These live and interactive webinars are aimed at years 3 to 6. Participants outside this age range are welcome, however younger participants may need additional support to complete activities.
We’ll guide participants through experiments using simple materials, while collecting their hypotheses and ideas through interactive polls and Q&A functions.
To get the most out of these webinars it's best to build along with us live. You'll find a materials list at the registration link. You will also have access to a resource that outlines the key concepts covered in the webinars, as well as some simple classroom activities for your class to follow along with and extend to support existing lesson plans.
