Join scientific illustrator Rachel Klyve for a creative day of botanical illustration at Inala Jurassic Garden, Bruny Island.
Rachel will introduce you to the basics of botanical art and show you some more advanced techniques, including colour theory, observational skills and how to capture rounded forms through an exploration of seeds and pods.
Continue your botanical art adventure in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere with Rachel’s guided step-by-step process on how to render a realistic illustration using pencil, dry brush and wet-in-wet watercolour.
The workshop includes a guided walk through the Inala Jurassic Garden.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate artists.
