  • Gingin Library
1A Lily King Place, Gingin, WA 6503, Australia

Join us for a fun and interactive science experience specially designed for children aged 0–5 years and their carers. This exciting workshop introduces young children to the wonders of science through hands-on activities, sensory play and creative exploration in a safe and welcoming environment.

Children will move through a variety of activity stations at their own pace, touching, observing, experimenting and discovering how the world works. Friendly presenters from Einsteins Australia will guide children through each activity, encourage questions and help spark curiosity through play-based learning.

Activities include:
• Nature discovery trays with real insects in resin, Australian seed pods, shells and leaves to explore using digital magnifiers
• Bubble activities introducing children to colour and light
• Craft rocket making with simple space-themed learning
• Sensory messy play exploring different states of matter
• Sensory toys and hands-on activities focusing on texture, size, shape and observation skills

This child-led workshop encourages imagination, confidence, creativity and early STEM learning while making science exciting and accessible for all children, including those who may have had limited exposure to STEM activities.

Carers are encouraged to join in the fun and explore alongside their child.

A maximum of 25 places are available for this workshop, so bookings are essential.
