Dive into the amazing world of sharks! Discover how different sharks have adapted to survive in different places around the world by learning about their body shapes, diets, and habitats.
Join us at the Charles Darwin University Casuarina Open Day for this hands-on workshop that is perfect for curious young scientists, creative minds, and anyone who loves sharks and the ocean. This workshop is open to everyone, including students and families.
This 1-hour workshop begins with a fun multimedia presentation introducing different shark species and how they are specially adapted to where they live and what they eat. You'll then use what you've learned to design your own shark, choosing features that help it survive in its chosen habitat. Finally, you'll bring your creation to life by building a 3D model of your shark using Play-Doh (which you’ll be able to take home).
This workshop is supported by InspiredNT.
