Have you ever wondered how plants grow, why things float or sink, or how a tiny insect survives in the world around it? Get ready to explore, experiment, and discover because Curious Minds is a science adventure designed just for you!

Curious Minds gives students from Kindergarten to Year 6 the chance to become young scientists through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Throughout the week, students ask questions, investigate ideas, make predictions, and test their thinking through engaging scientific activities.

The adventure begins with students creating their own questions about the world around them. This encourages curiosity, creativity, and ownership of learning. By observing, experimenting, and solving problems, students develop important scientific skills while deepening their understanding of how things work.

Activities are carefully designed for different year levels. Younger students enjoy sensory and exploratory experiences such as investigating mini beasts, experimenting with bubbles, planting seeds, and observing changes like melting, floating, and sinking. These activities encourage wonder and help build early scientific thinking.

Older students take part in more complex investigations that challenge them to think critically and solve problems. They may design seed dispersal systems, construct mini greenhouses, explore forces by creating balloon-powered cars, and investigate plant processes such as pollination and chromatography. These hands-on challenges help students apply their learning in creative and meaningful ways.

Throughout the week, students work together, share ideas, and learn from both successes and mistakes. Curious Minds celebrates exploration, discovery, and the excitement of finding answers to big questions.
