Celebrating National Science Week – Makerspace in Motion

We are calling adults and youth from year 7 and above. Did you know that Makerspaces are designed for adult usage?

Did you know that our Makerspace contains 2 laser cutters, 2 Bambu Lab 3D printers, an embroidery and sewing machine, an overlocker, a Cricut, pod casting equipment....and more?

Come to the Makerspace after hours to see STEAM come to life. Explore what is on offer in our Makerspace as we demonstrate:

• 3D printing

• laser cutting

• the embroidery sewing machine

• robotics in action

• Cricut cutting machine

This is the perfect chance to sign up for membership and discover the tools that power our Makerspace. Oh, and there will be some give-a-ways...

This is a drop-in session, you may come and go anytime during this session. Be sure to book in for the Science talk with John Sarkissian from CSIRO directly after this session.

While the focus is for youth and adults to explore the Makerspace machinery, children can attend but must be supervised at all times. Please also note that photography will be taken during the event. Please see staff if you do not wish for your photo to be taken.
