The National Measurement Institute invites you to the 2026 Measurement Awards, held online during National Science Week.
This free event celebrates people and projects that use measurement science to make a difference. Measurement science helps us check that things are accurate, safe and reliable. It supports many parts of daily life, from health and food to technology, trade and the environment.
At the event, finalists will give short talks about their work and explain how it helps solve practical problems. Awards will be presented across 4 categories:
- Barry Inglis Medal
- NMI Measurement Impact Award
- Measurement Achievement Encouragement Award
- People’s Choice Award
You can also vote for the People’s Choice Award during the event.
This event is for students, teachers, researchers, industry professionals and anyone curious about measurement science.
