The Premier’s Science Awards program recognises outstanding achievements in scientific research, study, education and engagement in Western Australia (WA).

Administered by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification, the Awards demonstrate the WA Government’s commitment to raising the profile of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) across the State.

Now in its 25th year, the Awards have recognised more than 140 outstanding recipients who continue to champion WA’s science and research sectors, inspiring future generations to pursue courses and careers in STEM.

The People’s Choice Award recognises the finalist that receives the most votes from the general public. By voting, you can help celebrate our 2026 finalists and their remarkable achievements. The results of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the Premier’s Science Awards ceremony.

Voting for the People's Choice Award will close at 12:00pm AWST, Monday 7 September 2026.
