Science is for people of all ages, including our littlest scientists!
We’ve partnered with the Centre for Advanced Studies in Education (CASE) at the University of Canberra to develop activities for young children 3 to 5 years-old to celebrate National Science Week. They are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and use easy-to-find materials.
They are a great way for childcare centres, preschools, kindergartens and parents of young children to get involved in Science Week, without the need to develop their own bespoke programs.
Each activity is inspired by one of our beloved National Science Week characters, and includes an instruction sheet for educators, and a ‘postcard’ with even more activities that can be done at home.
