Does your organisation employ scientists, science teachers or lecturers, or rely on scientific knowledge for its projects and products? Or are you simply interested in celebrating National Science Week?

Get involved in National Science Week 2012 by holding a Brain Break morning tea.

What is Brain Break?

Brain Break is a state-wide morning tea for anyone in the Tasmanian community wanting to celebrate science during National Science Week (11 – 19 August 2012).

Register to host a Brain Break morning tea by Friday 3 August and receive your FREE Brain Break kit.

This kit includes National Science Week programs, posters, bookmarks, quiz questions, and simple hands-on science activities.

When: Any time during the week, Monday 11 – Friday 19 August.

Where: Your organisation’s staff room, office, garden or kitchen…

Photograph and Win!

Are your scientific culinary creations too good to eat? Did one of the activities provide a memorable moment? Then why not take a photograph and enter it into this year’s Brain Break competition? The winning entry in each category will receive a $150 ABC shop voucher.

You must have entered your Brain Break event on the National Science Week website to be eligible.
