Students will present their Science Investigation projects to a panel of external judges. Potential judges may include representatives from local businesses, community organisations, education partners, and professionals from science-related industries to help highlight future pathways.

The event will run in two parts. When students are not presenting their findings, they will participate in science-based workshops delivered by Wynyard High School science teachers and visiting organisations. These sessions will provide hands-on, interactive experiences that connect scientific concepts to real-world applications. Where possible, community groups and industry representatives will also be invited to provide displays or demonstrations, showcasing how science is used in everyday life and careers.

Students will also have the opportunity to view investigations completed by their peers, encouraging curiosity and the exploration of different approaches to scientific inquiry.

We are inviting Year 5 and 6 students from Table Cape Primary School and Boat Harbour Primary School to attend, as they have been working alongside our experienced science teacher throughout Terms 1, 2 and 3 to develop their projects.

The investigation displays will be open to parents and carers from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in the Student Centre.
