James Fallon High School will be hosting its first-ever STEM Competition, bringing together Stage 3 students for a day of exciting, hands-on STEM challenges. The competition has been designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and innovation while encouraging students to apply their science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills in practical, real-world situations.
Working in teams, students will investigate problems, design solutions, build prototypes, test their ideas and refine their designs. Throughout the day they will develop teamwork, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills while participating in a range of engaging challenges suitable for a variety of interests and abilities.
The James Fallon High School STEM Competition provides an opportunity for students to experience STEM in a fun, supportive and collaborative environment, while building confidence and celebrating creativity and innovation. The event aims to foster a love of STEM learning and encourage students to explore future pathways in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
