This interactive community stall invites participants of all ages to explore the fascinating world beneath the waves and discover the animals, habitats and ecosystems that make the Great Barrier Reef one of the world's most remarkable natural treasures.Through hands-on conversations, educational resources and fun activities, visitors will learn about the challenges facing our oceans and the positive actions that individuals, families and communities can take to safeguard marine life for future generations.
The Australian Marine Conservation Society team will share free information, resources and giveaways designed to inspire curiosity, build understanding and empower people to become champions for healthy oceans. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about coral reefs, sea turtles, dugongs, dolphins and other iconic marine species while discovering how science, conservation and community action work together to protect these valuable ecosystems.
The stall will have a range of eco-friendly merchandise, including t-shirts, hats, children's books, toys, reusable cups and reusable straws, offering practical ways for visitors to support ocean-friendly habits in their everyday lives.
