Our Science Week project now culminates in participation in the Australian Agricultural Centre’s “AI in Agriculture – Empowering the Next Generation” program on Thursday 20th August in Griffith.
Students begin with a school‑based agritech investigation using NDVI sensors, Brix refractometers, and iPad data tools to analyse plant performance. Working with the IT faculty, they convert their measurements into digital dashboards and data stories.
On 20th August, students will take their Science Week findings to the regional AI in Agriculture event, where they will engage with CSIRO Data61, NBN, and university partners.
This provides a powerful extension of classroom learning, connecting school‑level agritech skills with real‑world AI applications, digital safety, and future pathways in agriculture and technology.
