'Seeds of Science – Curiosity Starts Here' at Tenison Woods College will involve a week of exposing students to the different science disciplines - this will include Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Physics and Psychology. The week will feature rotations of activities run by teachers and older students (middle and senior school students), with each day having a particular scientific focus. For example, the chemistry day will feature rotations of different chemical reactions, and the physics day will feature rotations mostly regarding motion. The scope of science week is to involve as many students and staff as possible, and to tap into the curiosity that we all have regarding the world around us. We will be utilising our 3D printer to help create resources for each day, as well as providing a memory token for students to take home, with the aim of inspiring students to stay curious about science – this will then hopefully lead to a growth in our senior school science classes.
