Cedars Christian College will be transformed into a week-long incubator of scientific exploration for students from Year 7 to Year 12.

Activities –

1. The High School science workshops will give yr 7 to 10 students an opportunity to explore the national theme - Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all. The task involves students applying forensic chemistry techniques—iodine fuming, cyanoacrylate fuming, and magnetic powder dusting—to visualise latent fingerprints on different surfaces.
2. The school wide Science Fair will focus on inspiration and innovation, showcasing individual research projects covering all scientific disciplines while encouraging the development of communication skills. External judges will evaluate the students’ efforts and crown the most creative projects.
3. To promote a sense of wonder students will collaborate to solve simulated crime scenarios, applying critical thinking, hypothesis development, and evidence-based reasoning to analyse information and determine outcomes.
