Savvy Science Week is sparking curiosity at Elliminyt PS! Across two action-packed days, every student from Prep to Year 6 will dive into 4 different hands-on experiments through exciting classroom rotations. Each activity has been carefully chosen to inspire wonder, build scientific thinking, and connect with key curriculum areas. Students won’t just watch — they’ll predict, test, observe, and explain, developing the confidence and skills to recreate the experiments at home using familiar materials we already have at school. Experiments will unclude Mentos and Coke, Lava Lamp, Lemon Battery and a range of Egg Experiments with eggs from our school chickens. 

To top it all off, a spectacular science show will bring thrilling demonstrations and big “wow” moments, introducing experiments beyond our usual classroom program. Mad About Science is bringing their one hour, 'Mad Science Show' to Elliminyt Primary School, for all students Prep to Year 6 to enjoy. Thanks to the generous support of our Parents and Friends Committee, we’ll finish Science Week with this explosive celebration of curiosity, discovery, and learning!
