Bring your students to Hive for a dynamic National Science Week experience featuring hands-on learning, expert presenters and real-world science.

Designed for secondary students, Rapid Science connects classroom learning with real-world science through expert-led sessions, discussion and hands-on investigation. In 2026, Hive is partnering with Landcare Tasmania and Harvest Moon to explore the science, innovation and environmental systems that help shape our region.

Groups can tailor their visit by selecting from a range of experiences, including:

• Rapid Science Sessions
• Planetarium Shows
• Hive Access, including the Science Centre, Art Gallery and Museum

Allow approximately one hour per activity. Groups can book one, two or three sessions as part of their visit.

Activities can be adapted to suit a range of year levels within primary and secondary education.

Subsidised Transport

A limited number of subsidised bus packages are available. To be considered, please submit a completed Bank Account Advice Form and a bus quote with your booking request.
