Calling all mini scientists!
Powered by Curiosity is a hands-on National Science Week event designed for children and their families. Through interactive STEM experiences, you will explore how scientists and engineers use observation, experimentation, measurement and testing to better understand the world around us.
The session runs for one hour and there are three different time slots to choose from.
At the beginning of each session, we will run a group mini science experiment. In this fun and interactive experiment, the children will be given opportunities to ask lots of questions and make guesses on what they think might happen, piquing their curiosity for other STEM stations around the room.
Each child will be given an opportunity to make something during the session to take home and watch grow. Problem solving will be challenged through games and fun activities, but it will take more than brain power to get some things moving.
