PERCEPT – An Immersive Art & Science Experience

Step into the forest for a unique event where art, science, and nature come together to inspire curiosity and new ways of seeing.

Created by glass artist Magdalena Marciniak, PERCEPT is an installation set within the forest at Glass Artistry Studio in Albany Creek.

The work invites you to slow down, be present, and notice how light, colour, sound, space, and your own attention shape your experience of the natural world.

The event will include an artist talk by Magdalena Marciniak, who will share the ideas and creative process behind the installation, followed by a special presentation from a guest researcher exploring the connections between art and science. There will also be time for conversation, questions, and reflection in the peaceful forest setting.

Whether you're interested in art, science, nature, or simply looking for a unique experience, PERCEPT offers an opportunity to see the familiar in a new way.

This free event is part of National Science Week and is proudly supported by the City of Moreton Bay and Arts Queensland.
