Welcome to the PRSHS STEM Innovation Fair — where science, curiosity and creativity become reality!
As part of National Science Week, Year 9–12 students at Park Ridge State High School will transform the school Activity Hall into a vibrant hub of discovery, invention, and hands-on science experiences.
Throughout the day, students will showcase exciting STEM activities, interactive demonstrations, and innovative projects designed and built by PRSHS learners. In the morning, secondary students will explore the creations of their peers, before opening the fair to local primary schools and community members in the afternoon, guided by our passionate PRSHS STEM Ambassadors.
A highlight of the event is the Innovation Market, where science meets entrepreneurship. Visitors will experience and purchase products developed through student science programs — from food science demonstrations like cheese making, to school-grown horticulture produce, and handmade creations such as beeswax lip balm.
The STEM Innovation Fair celebrates how science connects to the real world — inspiring future problem-solvers, supporting creativity, and showcasing the powerful role STEM plays in agriculture, sustainability, food production, technology, and small business innovation.
