National Quantum Computing Testbed Facility opens during National Science Week
Australia's quantum future gets a new home this National Science Week, as the Honourable Andrew Powell MP, Minister for the Environment and Tourism and Minister for Science and Innovation, officially opens the National Quantum Computing Testbed Facility.
The opening marks a major addition to Australia's quantum infrastructure, arming researchers and industry with the tools to push quantum computing forward. Around 120 senior representatives from industry, government and universities will attend, with rolling tours offering a rare first look inside the facility.
Delivered in partnership with Inspiring Australia Queensland as part of National Science Week, and in collaboration with Quantum Australia and the Queensland Government, the event celebrates a facility funded by the Queensland Government under the Quantum and Advanced Technology Commercialisation Infrastructure Program.
