Our school’s Brilliant Science Expo will span an entire school day and combine students from kindergarten through to Year 6. The day will have a range of interesting, hands-on science and STEAM activities throughout the school grounds that students will rotate around in mixed age groups. We will end the day with an amazing  demonstration that will be a captivating, practical presentation where scientific concepts come to life. The day’s activities will encourage and cultivate analytical thinking along with a spirit of inquisitiveness about the world around them.  

Students will be involved in experiments that follow the principles of fair testing, repeating procedures for reliability, using precise measurements, applying mathematical calculations, and keeping accurate records. The activities will be so fun that all students, teachers and parents will want to be involved. It will demonstrate not only how important science is but also how amazing it can be. I’m hoping this will encourage students to see science as an area they would like to pursue in later years.
