What if the students aren't the only ones who learn something new during Science Week?
During Science Week, we want students and teachers to explore science in fun and different ways. Each day, classes will have the chance to watch a short SCINEMA film about a different area of science. Who knows — the students might even teach their teacher something new!
The films can be used as quick brain breaks that still get us thinking, wondering and learning. Teachers can choose films that suit their class, from Prep all the way to Year 6, giving students the chance to explore something different each day.
A short film could also be watched after first break to help everyone settle their minds, refocus and get ready for learning again. We hope the films will captivate classes, start conversations and encourage students to ask questions about things they may never have thought about before.
Science is everywhere, not just in a lab. Science Week is our chance to be curious, discover something different and maybe even prove that teachers can still learn new things too!
