Help us celebrate National Science Week this year at the Department of Primary Industries Hermitage Schools Science Competition's Awards Day & Ag Science Expo.  This event formally recognises prize winners and participants of the 2026 'Fungal Forensics' themed competition and celebrates all things agricultural science.

There will be heaps of fun and learning to be had with formal presentation of awards, inspirational talks, engaging presentations and heaps of interactive science-themed displays in 'Science Show Alley' including the dynamic StreetScience Show and cuddles with some cute baby farm animals in the mobile petting zoo.

Meet Costa!  With his trademark beard, infectious energy, and a passion for all things green, Costa Georgiadis (Logie award winning host of ABC TV's Gardening Australia) is bursting back onto Hermitage soil as our special guest presenter, ready to inspire young minds to dig deep, think big, and let science grow wild.
