Situated in Perth’s cultural precinct and close to public transport facilities, the Western Australian Museum — Perth offers a wide range of long term and travelling exhibitions.

Explore the stories and culture of the local Aboriginal people, the State’s unique flora, fauna and biodiversity, and the fascinating minerals, meteorites, megafauna and dinosaurs that once inhabited WA and prehistoric Earth.

The Museum also includes the Discovery Centre, which offers the chance to get hands-on with the Museum’s collections and learn about WA, the land and the people.

The Museum is open daily from 9.30 am – 5.00 pm (25 April 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm). Closed on 25-26 December, 1 January and Good Friday.

Admission is free (suggested donation $5).
