Potoroo Palace Native Animal Sanctuary is a not-for-profit charity with the aim of educating the local community about the importance of native wildlife and how twe can all make a difference to their environment.

Visitors can see about 30 long-nosed potoroos (Potorous tridactylus), some rufus bettongs (Aepyprymnus rufescens), koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), wombats (Vombatus ursinus), echidnas (Tachyglossus Aculeatus), flying foxes (Pteropus poliocephalus) as well as a range of reptiles and birds. Many of the animal residents are native to the local area.

Small bags of animal feed are available to buy. There is a café on site as well as a barbecue area for visitors. Open everyday. Fees apply.
