Monarto Safari Park in the Murraylands is home to more than 500 animals across more than 50 species. The park spans more than 1500 ha and the animal enclosures are connected by a network of walking trails, as well as a free hop-on hop-off bus loop.

The park’s residents include black and southern white rhinos, bison, giraffes, nyala, meerkats, and yellow footed rock wallabies. Endangered animal conservation efforts have included bilby and bettong captive breeding, as well as participating in global breeding programs for lions and rhinoceros.

Each day there is a schedule of free keeper talks, and there are a range of bookable up-close animal experiences (fees apply).

The visitor centre includes a gift shop and café, and there are EV chargers in the car park. The park has a grassy area with tables and chairs for picnics.

The park is open everyday and admission fees apply.
