The Radicle Centre is the Northern Territories newest science centre, in fact it’s the only science and technology centre north of Brisbane. The Radicle Centre will be a unique STEM exploration space located in Darwin City at the Danala ׀ Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Education and Community Precinct. It will be a beacon of excellence in STEM engagement and highlight the Northern Territory’s strengths in STEM. It will act as a STEM hub and a supporting body to the many STEM professionals, students and outreach providers based in the Northern Territory.

Radicle is the scientific name given to the first roots when a seed germinates and true to its namesake, Radicle with reach beyond the Centre and extend to schools and rural and remote communities.

The centre aims to:

  • Create hands-on STEM education opportunities for young Territorians
  • Reach First Nations people and remote areas
  • Capture the NT’s brightest minds and provide pathways for future STEM leaders
  • Celebrate the Science and Technology engagement of NT-based industry, government, and outreach practitioners
