The Stockport Observatory is the primary viewing site for the Astronomical Society of South Australia. 

In addition to use by Society members, ASSA hosts four Star Parties each year.  They are open to the public, with people of all ages very welcome.  Gaze at the wonders of the night sky with the experts from the ASSA.  Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or a newbie, these events are perfect for everyone.
