What’s Happening?

At the Solar Car Workshop, you will design, assemble, and customize your very own mini racer powered entirely by clean renewable energy. No batteries, no plugs—just pure solar magic!

• Build Like a Pro: Learn how real engineers use smart joinery and clever designs to snap together sturdy vehicle chassis—no messy glue required!

• Harness the Sun: Wire up real miniature solar panels and electric motors. Watch your vehicle spring to life the moment light hits the photovoltaic cells!

• Tune for Speed: Test your wheel alignment, adjust gear ratios, and optimize your car to squeeze every drop of speed out of the sun’s rays.

• Race on the Track: Put your creation to the ultimate test on our custom track. Go head-to-head with fellow makers to see whose solar speedster crosses the finish line first!

This workshop is designed for curious minds, young creators, and future engineers aged 8 and up (younger makers welcome with a helping adult).
