Join the Antarctic Science Foundation for an exciting quiz-based competition exploring the fascinating world of Antarctic climate science.

Watch our online presentation, to discover the difference between weather and climate, explore how scientists use ice cores as climate time capsules, and learn what tiny bubbles, volcanic ash, sea salt and other clues trapped in the ice can tell us about Earth’s past. After the presentation, test your knowledge and put yourself in the running to win some epic prizes by completing our super cool Antarctic quiz.

The competition is open for learners in Kindergarten to Year 6. Winners will be announced on Monday, 31 August 2026, and winner packs will be shipped to your school.
