Join WA AI Hub for NextGen AI Lab - Week 4 - Build Your AI Project Brief. This session is part of the NextGen AI Lab weekly programme and is built for secondary students in Years 7-12, with parents/carers invited into the learning journey.

In this session, you will turn an idea into a clear AI-assisted project plan. The hands-on activity is for you to define the project purpose, intended user, boundaries, success criteria and what the AI must not do. You will leave with an AI Project Brief and a clear redo-at-home step.

The practical skills for this week will include project scoping, user need framing and boundary design. The session uses safe practice examples. Participants should not enter personal, student, customer, health, legal, financial or confidential business information into AI tools.

About NextGen AI Lab

NextGen AI Lab is an eight-week learning series that introduces young people and families to the opportunities, challenges, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. Through hands-on activities, guided discussions, and project-based learning, participants will develop the knowledge and confidence to use AI creatively, ethically, and safely.

• Dr Eunice Sari is Co-Founder and Management Committee Member of WA AI Hub and a leader in human-centred AI and inclusive design. With more than 25 years of experience in innovation, technology, and education, she is passionate about helping young people develop the skills and confidence to use AI creatively and responsibly.
• Mr Josh Tedjasaputra is a WA AI Hub strategist, technologist, and educator who supports young people to explore AI through practical, hands-on learning while building digital skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
