The Townsville Medieval and Fantasy Festival STEM Catapult Competition is open to primary, secondary and TAFE or University teams in the Townsville and NQ region.
Proudly sponsored by the Townsville STEM Hub, the Catapult Competition is an exciting opportunity for students to engage in hands-on engineering, physics, and maths challenges.
Students will create catapults in a small or large category field using simple materials and compete for the title of the most effective and accurate catapult in a range of differing challenges.
On the day of the Festival, head down and see their incredible feats of engineering. Cheer for your favourite team and see who flies high!
